Pirkan opisto COVID-19 customer briefing

Due to recommendations issued by the Pirkanmaa regional coordination group for the COVID-19 pandemic, Pirkan opisto will continue the spring term as stated below. Each group will be informed of course specific changes.

 

  • Pirkan opisto indoor courses for children born in 2008 or later can be carried out as contact teaching starting from April 19th in groups no larger than 10 people and as long as THL/OKM guidelines are followed.
  • Pirkan opisto indoor courses for adults, teenagers and children born before 2008 remain terminated at least until April 30th, unless the course can be carried out as remote teaching or outdoors.

  • Pirkan opisto courses for indoor sports and dance remain terminated until further notice.  This restriction also applies to sporty health and well-being courses.

  • One-on-one courses are permitted as contact classes.

  • Outside group courses are permitted in groups no larger than 10 people and following safety guidelines.

  • All public events and general meetings will continue to be organized remotely.

  • The use of a facial mask is recommended for everyone over the age of 12.

  • Safety and hygiene instructions must be followed at all times. 

 

Registration and course fees

  • NOTE! If you have cancelled your participation for a course but would like to return to a course, you will need to sign up for the course again. Signing up for the course is recommended because only registered students receive information on changes regarding the course and other details!

 

Pirkan Opisto aims to inform registered students of any changes regarding their courses as quickly as possible.
